School and Sport Physicals

All Care Med Solutions can handle your school and sport physical needs. Our highly trained staff can complete your child’s exam and any forms you need for the coming school year. We can also administer many of the vaccines and required immunizations.


Back to school physicals and sports physicals will vary based on the child’s age, but typically the provider will:

  • Record your child’s height, weight, blood pressure, pulse, and BMI
  • Check your child’s heart, lungs, lymph nodes, abdomen, skin, eyes, ears, nose, and throat
  • Evaluate your child’s vision, joints, muscles, and spine
  • Discuss the medical history of your child and your family
Pre-Employment Physicals

Pre-employment physical exams can only be legally requested after a job has been offered. This ensures that no discrimination issues will arise.


When submitting to a pre-employment exam, keep in mind that the tests performed might change based on Your sex, your age, any previous conditions or accidents/injuries you report during the interview and current health conditions or illnesses you’re dealing with

  • Basic Check-up
  • Alcohol and Drug Tests
  • The doctor will check your reflexes, range of motion (and joint health), heart health and respiratory function, hearing issues and pupil dilation.


DOT Physical Exams

Federal law requires drivers of commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) to receive regular Department of Transportation Medical Examinations (DOT) physical examinations. DOT physicals are designed to detect physical, mental, and emotional issues that can impact a CMV driver’s ability to safely spend long hours on the road


  • An evaluation of an employee’s vision, hearing, blood pressure/pulse rate, and overall physical ability.
  • It will also test for illegal drugs.
  • If drivers take any medications, they’ll need to bring a complete list to the exam, including the doses and doctors’ information.
  • Any drivers that require corrective vision or hearing need to bring their eyeglasses, contacts, or hearing aids.
  • If your drivers suffer from any other medical condition, they may be required to bring additional information.
  • Drivers do not need to abstain from eating before their dot physical exam.

A DOT physical exam is valid for up to 24 months.

Results will be reported electronically (additional fee) to the NRCME when the exam is completed and certified drivers will receive a copy of the Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
